  • Yet another f****** E36 build

Tons of E36s here... so I'll throw mine in the ring.
    How I bought it

yeah, no idea what springs were in the rear...

    Installed SoloWerks S1s

    Cheating:

Lowered to current spec with 90mm studs, 15mm front spacers. 205/55/16s. Crappy ebay-looking white tails.

3.15 LSD sitting in the trunk waiting to go in
    Currently sitting on snow tires.

Coming soon: Fifteen52 Tarmacs. Probably going to go 17x8 all around. ET35 so I can play with the spacers.
Suspension will be fiddled with when the new wheels go on.

Pretty happy with the SoloWerks S1 coils. They ride really nice. I never feel them bottom out or jouncing around. Hope I put enough Boshield on them before winter...

Good luck. 17x8 ET35 is weak. Please go more aggressive.

well, that's what the 90mm studs are for. ease of spacer adjustment
Also, I don't want to go mental with the offset on the wheels as I'm pretty sorted on sticking with BMWs for a while and I want to be able to move around to other chassis if necessary.

it also gets driven in winter, so I can't be so tight on clearances or else some jammed up snow in the fenderwells can blow a fender liner out, the fender itself OFF or stall a wheel from turning. Can't put my family at risk to get perfect stance...

                        teaser

fenders need rolling in the rear (scrubbing hard)
went with 245/40/17 and 17x9 ET40 on the rear
                        225/45/17 and 17x8 ET35 on the front.

thank god for crappy iPhone cameras and grainy instragram filters. You can't tell how much dirt and bird crap is caked on the car

I'm hoping with some heat and an eastwood fender roller, I can get a quarter to a half inch of clearance here...
