Default Street Sweeper, In progress. E30.

*warning, cellphone pictures*

So first of, sold my old e36. Got a deal that i could not pass up. And since there are so many new E30's popping up, think i would join the bandwagon and do the same.
Heres a picture of the old car.

Link to the build thread of the green. Clicky

Anyhow, here is the new one, an E30 90's 318iS.

I got some issues, by some i mean LOADS of them.
Such as, HUGE hole in the rear fender well.
The car stutters at 4k rpm, And 2k rpm when its cold. Think it is the coils, but since i can get my hands on any. Because they are discontinued, I need some coil over plugs. (any info on this would be great)
And its rusted to hell.
Window wipers don't function to well.
Blower is dead.
Two different front seats.
etc etc.

So here are a few bits that i have collected.
Original m-tech2 front and rear bumpers. Side skirt without the pods.
RH ZW1, two piece. 17x8 et60. with a 1.25inch lip.
2x 2.25inch lips.
2x 3.25inch lips.
Gold bolts.
And there is where the list stops.

What i miss is.
Coilovers, KW v1.
215/35 and 225/35 Falken 452's.
New bushings all around.
New seat, or complete cabin.
Various trim.
Exhaust.
Skid plate.
Clips and loads of them.

The plan is, getting the wheels painted and collected. Since they are sandblasted and sanded down.
Get the rust fixed, and paint the car.
Then get it low and the wheels on.

The car is gonna be Black on silver wheels, or White on White wheels, not decided yet what to do.

So anywhoooo, i went and put the mtech set on.

First off, rear bumper time.

Because theres so much rust. The bracket snapped, and most of the bolt where shot. I got pissed and to an angle grinder to cut the rear bumper off, then cutting the screws of from the front.
In progress of cutting.

Time to attack the front.
Some parts here, including mtech upper bumper and lower one, and new fenders.

Can see the hole in the fender

Testing to see how it would look.

And here is how it looks at the moment.

And the wheels that are going on it. Note that these are the 1.25inch lips, that are NOT going on.

Thanks guys, yeah rust is a bitch.
And the wheels are gonna be silver with gold bolts. If i decide to paint the car black.
If i'm gonna paint the car white, the wheels will be white as well, with gold bolts.

Sweet! I was wondering when your sig pic was going to be shown. Love the MT2, should look pretty awesome. I found a deal on a kit locally but its still more than I want to spend, lol.

Thanks.

Tho, i don't know if the project is over. As of last night, i spun out and went in a ditch. Cant really see anything on the picture.

Have yet to see the full damage on the car, but i drove it home, after i got pulled out. Parked the car, and had a night out. Gonna get the car back later today and look at it for real.

I should have brought a parachute with me.
Lucky that i went of the road at that side. If i went of in the other side. I would have rolled about 100meters then fall down in the ocean. So it could have bin worst, a lot worst.

Hm, is that snow? Don't really know what you are getting at, its a huge ditch. That is on side of the road. Its covered with a tiny layer of snow yes.

I am okey, seems that the car is okey as well. So i think ill not pull the plug on the project.

The good: Got my parts for the wheels in.
The bad: One of the 3.25'' lips, is bent. And i'm gonna contact them, see about if i can get a replacement.

Thanks for the concerns.
Emailed enha.eu they told me to ship it back to them, the lip that dose not really fit. (cant get the screws through the holes.)
They are really nice and friendly, good response and super service. I would recommend www.enha.eu to anyone. Top notch guys and gals.

Glad you're alright from that mishap and that the build is still on.
Loved the e36, can't wait to see the outcome here.

Thanks.
Shipped the wheels out to Germany. And don't know when they will arrive there, because its with the boat.
Since all the air traffic is stopped, because of the volcano.
Anywhoooo, gotta get the wheels painted and get my hands on some spacers, 2x 37.6 and 2x24.4.
to get it to sit where i want them, (gotta take some more measurements before i'm 100% sure.)

And i got the car out, by calling a tow truck. And we pulled the car up, (dear god i missed the scraping sound much ) even tho, my old car did scrap on bumps THAT much.

*edit, took a better picture. Trying to do the wheels justice, tho i failed. But here it is.

No it's not.
I'm gonna run some camber, but not THAT much
I couldn't mount the wheels to the hub, because of the HIGGGGH offset, stock offsets are 60.
After lip change's they are 47,3f and 34,6r if my calculations are correct, then im gonna space them out, to get et 10 front and rear.
Should make for some good amount of pokeage.
