Hey guys, Thought I'd update and put a new thread up for my latest car.
Be warned, I'm a photo wh0re, so this thread is going to be pic heavy lol
My last car was a Bora, which ended up looking like this. It was on coilovers and rolling on some Autostrada Monza's

Sold the Bora, and moved onto this 330 e46!
Now be warned, there is a lot of pics, from when I bought it in November 2012, up till now!
As I bought it

First things first, swirl flaps removed

Ordered coilovers

Got new aero wipers

I don't like running plates, so took off the horrible plate recess and ordered a plate delete from BMW

My badges were looking a bit worse for wear, so I got some nice OEM all black and white badges.

Clipped on the new plate delete, and while I was at it, painted the lower grills black, and tinted the fogs

Next, the final stage resistor went pop, so no heaters during winter so decided to replace it. Worst job ever!!!

Next job was to kill the arch gap!
Old kit was leaking

A little bit of heat to get it out

Rears were snapped, good time to replace!

New ones on, along with 15mm spacers

Was a bit of rubbing, so started chopping away at the rear arches

How it sat after some adjustments

Next thing was to debadge and detail! Cheeky plug

A 50:50 of the correction!

After finishing the correction, it was protected with Wolfs Hard body nano sealant

After this, the rear lights were annoying me, so split them, cleaned them up and polished:

Next up, binned the clear indys and side repeaters, managed to get some ambers from Germany fairly cheap

Did some trial fitting

Then finally got round to some new plates, which I then tinted lightly

And fitted some magnets to the inside of the bump strip and the number plate, so can stick them on and off

Then was time to give it a really good servicing
Old oil out

Air filter

Also changed the breather filter and seals as I read they were common to failure

Then found I had some horrid vibrations from under the car, which turned out to be the prop shaft bearing

Then was time to have some rwd fun/practise in the snow !

Managed to get hold of some nice Audi A4/Q7 tips, so chopped the horrid down pipe tips.
After a bit of chopping and welding:

Then I decided to change the tyres around so I could get it sitting a little better till I get my Monza's on

After some playing around with the coilovers, managed to get it sitting like this

After a clean

My friend is making the adapters for the wheels, so he gave me a test fit adapter so I could properly trial them

Tight!! Going for 5mm smaller adapters
Then finally got a new steering wheel to replace the shabby original one

New one in after some leather treatment

Decided to do some painting, bits of the car were looking faded

Then decided to paint the rub strips because I ***** the 'poverty plastic' look, so removed them all and flatted them down

Afterwards

Fitted:

And that brings it pretty much up to date. Some pics of how it sits at the moment

Then ended up tinting my rear lights all red, didn't like the originals. Still a few changes to the lights to be made. And then finally got my Monza's on after some tweaking

Latest pics of it, have only had the wheels on since this weekend. Still quite a bit to do, basically tidying up and a little bit of twaeking here and there

Sorry for the millions of pictures!
