im new to this forum but the car is a 2003 Volkswagen 20th
okay so I bought the car back in September of 2010 petty much stock it just had an intake and clear marker lights on it
a week later I installed coilovers on it from my last jetta and got amber marker lights
about 3 months after that I pulled the trigger on going air with it
took it out the first time with the are and took some pictures also got bumper fog lights for it
got an OEM rack and basket with a rocky mount rack for it
did hard lines in the trunk with a new tank
got golf tails and new headlights
got new front bags so I could actually lay frame and put my fat fives on that were just laying around for something different

one of the hardlines blow apart on me so I just redid the trunk simple and painted the tank. but I was just helping a buddy change his wheel haha
moved the air ride controller into the center console and relocated the power outlet
and then this is where the fun started!!! wire tuck delete EVERYTHING and big turbo this is the part of the build where I just shut down and it took me 2 years to get it back on the road haha

when pulling motor apart I found that cylinder 4 rod was bent 2 different ways but the car ran good put heres the rod difference

motor back in for intercooler piping and downpipe fab.
this was fun
a buddy cam over and took some pictures of the car while it was broken haha
pulled motor back out and installed the clutch
and then after that I don't really have any pictures of the build but I finshed welding up the downpipe and intercooler piping. painted all pipe and got everything back in that after the car sat for a year untouched car didn't even have the motor back in it. I also sold the air ride to fund the turbo build and im kinda glad I got rid of the air ride. but I busted ass and get everything back together in 2 weeks to get it ready for a car show coming up that I want to take it too. when I first tried starting it, it started first try after sitting for 2 years with 2 year old gas with no stabile in the gas and she ran like a champ.
the first night taking here out it was 28 degrees out and there was ice on the car, the car has no heat it was one cold ass ride but I was so happy it was back on the street
but then me and a buddy went out and tool some pictures of out cars
and then a week later another buddy want to take pictures of the car too
but as far as now the car has about 600 miles on in sense the build and no problems at all it even passed E-check with no emissions and no cat on the car so I was pumped on that im just so happy she back on the road after being in the garage for 2 years haha
