    what tyres will i need...

    i'm thinking..

    18x8.5 .. et22 = 215/35/18
    18x10 .. et25 = 225/40/18

    what would you suggest..

215/35 and depending on your willingness to run agressive stretch, 225/35 or there about.

Anywho this helps alot - http://www.tyrestretch.com/index.php

the "normal" is et13 on a 8,5j and 20 on a 10j. so think you will need a 10mm spacer and a 5mm. THO do not count on this 100%, because i have no experience on e46's, only heard that they run the same setup as e36.

Ill let some e46'ers chime in on this.

            Nice.

Tho, lay some wood between the ground and rim, and then put the car down. As it will natural camber in, you will see how flush it really is. because you cant judge when the suspension isen't compressed.

that would basically be e46 m3 fitment.

id run 205's in the front since theyre 18's. even though its not THAT aggressive like the rear, the stretch will be pretty even.
