  • Air Build: 1972 Bavaria

Hi SW, I'm a long-time lurker and finally have something to show.

Let me tell you guys a little bit about the car...

I picked the car up from a guy in Georgia in October of last year. It needed some tuning, but after replacing some parts, it's running strong (with some minor leaks).

It's got a Metric Mechanics 3.7 stroker and 5-spd conversion with less than 30k miles on it.

It was restored in '92ish with fresh paint and new interior then sat for 10+ years.

I love this car for how much character it has over most cars on the road.

The inspiration for the build came from TheNeek

So I spent this past weekend with a friend of a friend fabrication my struts for my air suspension.

I can't tell you guys how big of a smile I've got on my face.

Here's a before shot, sitting high on Bilsteins and new Enkei 92's I picked up (16x8 et 0)

Thanks man, no plans to change the wheels since I just got these. I want to polish up the lips and refinish the centers silver to match.

The front is sitting on the subframe, it's just the lack of a front valance (comparable to burrough's csl front valance) that makes it look like it's still sitting high lol.
