Default e46 M3 'money pit'

Sold my M5 a while back and decided to look something new to mod.
I got a bit bored with the old one when it got to the point where I wanted.. not much fun just changing a small bit there and there.
So I bought a 2004 stock M3 from Germany.. I don't really like black cars but hey the car chose me.

Das original:

The number of buttons in the last row in center console pretty much equals to the amount of order options.

I actually had ordered a few 'small' upgrades before I even knew which car to buy.

I'm not a fan of chrome trim so those had to go as soon as I got it to Finland.

Now you see them

And now you dont

And some fresh detailing

First thing first.. some coils

Plenty more to use

As for now

And them "some" noise

The GruppeM titanium exhaust weighs about 5kg.. Stock exhaust is more like six times that.

And it's in the details:

Not really helping since it's stupid expensive to ship wheels from US to Finland
Next up the car is going to winter storage where I have plenty of time to play with the wheel/suspension setup and more of the exterior stuff. The plan is to get SC installed before the car is garaged.

I also finally got the front turn signals changed. Had to reorder them since I didn't really look which type I had (screw/push).. Oh wel.

Seems like the track days did their job to the exhaust.. It changed color a bit.
