  • New Car | '77 BMW 320i

    Hello Stance|Works,

Again I’m not new, and I haven't been very busy on this forum since graduating college and working full-time.

Sadly, I didn’t get very far on my last build of the AC Schnitzer/Korman wide body 2002, but I couldn't let such an opportunity pass for a new project. I would like to introduce my new old car that I had bought from HumptyDumped on the forum!

It’s a 1977 BMW 320i with an S50 swap and Getrag 260 transmission done by a previous owner of the car. All I will say is this thing will put a manic grin on your face, it’s definitely something of its own. It also made the three hour drive home this past weekend with ease...

Some pictures of the car for your viewing; it’s a little rough around the edges but hey it comes with the age.

I am going to assume this will be a slow build; I want to do everything properly, so the winter will be the best bet.

    Thanks for looking!

P.S. - - The 2002 is still kicking around, how about a dual build?

Thank you! It'll be a fun car when all is said and done. Made the six hour trek Thursday to OCMD and just finished a 10 hour ride home as well.

Quite pleased with how the car held up and lasted the entire trip without any problems!

Thank you sir, the 2002 as well as the E21 will both be a bit different come next year! I definitely suggest buying a classic, there's nothing like 'em!

A little bit of a thread revival because I'm not going to make a build thread until I actually start working on the car.

I bought a set of Rotiform VCE's, they are 17x8.5/9.5... they should be a nice fit.
