Fiesta XR2i - RS1800

Hi guys,

I´m Thomas from Czech republic and I would like to show you my XR2i with 1.8 16v engine.

This year car look´s like this..





This body was too rusty so based on this I bought another fiesta (with common engine 1.0 but with perfect body condition)


I started with disassembly and with cleaning




And started with cleaning engine bay..
holder for battery before

and after but still not finished

I really love the old XR2i and awesome thing that you transplant it into a fresh body. I am in for more!

However, you dont leave the old chassis in the woods, do you? Please bring it to the scrapyard.

Modification of dashboard...

to this - elimination of hole for heater and new holes for additional "alarm"


Now dashboard is waiting for a new surface

and also new parts for welding..

Today I got new part from Fireblade 1000ccm

After unobtrusive modification


Also flywheel reduce few gramme


And skeleton will be like new

Damn this looks good. I have a weak spot for these fiesta's... I have a set of XR2i fog lights laying around to install on my Benz!
