Default My 1988 Toyota MR2 Supercharged Stance:Nation Feature

My good buddy Jim (Killer Blackbird) hooked me up with an amazing photoshoot in downtown Albany a few weeks ago and succeeded in getting it featured on Stance:Nation. These are the first nice pics of my car now that height is dialed in perfectly.

My only other plans for the car visually are to space out the fronts 10mm or so. After that I'll be putting only oil and gas into the car until I can afford the 250whp+ 10,000RPM 2.0L Honda K-series monster I've been dreaming up for this car since the day I bought it.

Link to my StanceWorks build thread

Link to the actual feature on Stance:Nation

Enjoy the pics and hit up Killer Blackbird for all your northeast photography needs!!

I can't tell you how much I love and admire what you've done with this mr2. All of the choices come together in a way that seems complimentary to the original styling without going overboard and making it goofy. Even drop, proper offset, perfect wheels and evidence that you actually drive the car, which gives it character.

900% like.

Thanks so much for the compliments guys. I've had a simple vision for this car since the day I bought it and now that the exterior is pretty much done (previous owner restored the interior) I can't wait to get started on my dream motor

Congrats on the feature, this is a truly awesome car, coming from someone who doesn't like this shape MR2 makes it mean something too lol

I love love love your car!

Pictures are amazing too!
I hope I can get mine to that point some day. It will be a mild 4agze sc14 and hopefully white and silver two tone. Wheel choice undecided but I have a set of 17" RS I might build...
I really like the look of equips but I'd have to go 5 lug.

This car was faster than an e30 M3 stock for stock and the first ever issue of Automobile magazine placed the MR2 against the Ferrari 308 (or 348, I forgot) and the MR2 won . This car was the bee's knees back in the day lol.
