Money Shifted e36 story time

anyway where this story starts is on craigslist im looking for another e36 becasue i think i wanna drift like everyone else. who doesn't? I had a stancy car and yeah it was whatever i guess. Here that one is.

i sold it to a buddy and he totaled it a month later. i miss it but what ever,
anyway, continuing the story. I find a black e36 coupe 325is on craigslist says its on coils, stage 2 clutch, 14lb flywheel. had 168k asking 2700. and im thinking, hmm maybe i can talk him down it has some decent starter stuff on it. long story short i got the car the next day for 2200 and i was excited.

alright and first im just like alright ill get some decent wheels make sure everythings in good working order and just beat it. right?
so like every other e36 guy hey i want style 5s, hey i want style 19s. so i start looking and i picked up a set of decently clean style 5s for 300. when i saw others going for A G BAR. who in their right mind is gunna drop a grand style 5s? not this guy.

got em cleaned up and eventually got used tires for them and was like okay. but at this time i was really getting into watching these guys drift in Lithuania and they have a certain style that i like. it seems like they run super aggressive poke up front and something that fits in the rear and i think it looks awesome. here is picture of one of their older builds. look them up under norbe films!

so im thinking i wanna run similar front aggressiveness. how can i do that with style 5s? spacers? hmm then one day i stumbled on alex gold's build thread on here and he flipped the faces on style 5s to run the barrel as the lip. and my jaw dropped and said to my self thats sick! so i said fuck it im flippin em. idk how im gonna fit em, but im making it happen. i really have or had no intentions of trying to run rears flipped because i just really liked the Lithuanian style or what ever you may call it. and didnt want to run flares if i didn't have to.

would you look at that. just look at it. i was stoked. and with still some dialing in (banging everything with hammer) i could drive with them. and i thought the car just looked so sick. i was so excited.

i had a sparco seat laying around i had in one of my old e30s so i really wanted to put that thing in. build some sketcky custom seat bracket from shit from lowes and got that sucker in.

and im thinking to myself this car is pretty freaking cool (in my opinion). maybe i can make something out of it. like give it a name. like hey there is that (blank) car! and my best friend has his own car club/ company and makes alot of cool stuff and has super cool cars, so im thinking maybe i can make my own little thing.

and somehow came up with this strange dreams name for the car and maybe some car shit i could make. and right about now is where the story goes down hill.
so just imagine your pretty much as stoked on your car as you could ever be. just think about that. so that night with the new vinyl on the car. everything set up alright, my buddys and i go to local car show that ends up just being us 3 in the parking lot because nobody goes anymore. then i get a call from a girl i liked at the time and i leave and go hang out. yeah im feeling good. gunna go pick up this girl and take her for a ride in this car she never seen before. any way ew get in the car were driving around kinda talking and it would be right with out me showing off right.? so we get on one road and i give her the beans. (the car) i'm hammering it. 1st 2nd 3rd redline bout a 100 mph and go to grab 4th to let off and guess what. guess fucking what. she went in 2nd. 2nd fucking gear at 100mph. cars cant do that. i didnt try it obviously but it happend. and guess what it shut off. and to be honest i didnt know what to think besides that im fucked.

i money shifted that bitch. blew it up. donezo. yeah thats one of my sparkplugs. its flat. FLAT. the spark plug is flat. so im thinking alright i need a new motor. and i find one on craigslist a couple weeks later, says it needs a headhasklet and it has low miles. so i get it. get it back to the house and pull the head off. guess what. the piston in this new motor is cracked. so im dicked for sure now. and you would never guess i didnt get my money back so i had to eat that bill. not fun.

ill leave the story here for now and come back to it tonight or tomorrow because ive got to go work soon. but i hope this so far is entertaining to some people.

so anyway. the black car was toast. fried. originally i thought i could get a cheap motor and just put another m50 in the car and be A ok. but after i got shafted on the cracked piston motor i was sad. Later i was like maybe i can just find another whole car and swap all my stuff from this black car onto a different car instead of putting another motor in. and one night on craigslist i found a 95 325is for 1 grand. running and driving. i was like shitt. texted the guy at like 2 in the morning saying i was buying it. the next day i got it for 800 beans.

only problem is it needed a door. he opened the door up in city traffic and someone hit it the opposite way and this is the car with the door closed all the way.

but i knew i could swap doors off the black car. so i bought the car, ratchet strapped the door shut and drove that bitch home on a sketchy plate that wasn't registered for the car.

but the positives to this boston green car. had plenty of recent maintence, h&r cupkit, 700 dollar angel eyes and uuc camberarms in the rear. all that makes up for the price of the car with ease.
