  • The not quite VIP yet LS400.

Said goodbye to my Jeep today, met some great people along the way but it's time to tear up somethint better. Say hello to a 1993 Lexus LS400, with 105k original miles, factory air suspension, full black interior in near perfect condition, and a ton of potential.

It's going to be a little slow getting started as I plan to knock out a ton of little things but I told myself I was going to document day 1 forward.

I'll toss up more pictures later tomorrow.

All in due time, let me get the build to a decent start and save up gas money and I'll throw a supercharger on it.

Plans for the next few months:
Full serial nine arms, RCAs, and FUCAs.
PBM coils, around 28k /24k rates
19" SSR Agle Premiums, already have them.
        Start my interior rework.
Debadge, and find a new grille as mines cracked.

Think you might radius the rears too? It looks awesome on these cars!

Also that shell looks minty fresh, nice find man

You'll probably get similar gas mileage too, so all in all, a good sub.

                      Thank you all.
I searched for awhile, I really didn't want tan interior and a ton of the LS' I looked at had some serious issues. I got burned by a few sellers driving a few hours and they either no showed, or didn't really want to sell it. Luckily I found one, and it couldn't have worked out better.

Words can't express how clean it is, the previous owner has had it 17 1/2 years, and only out about 50k miles on it in that time. Leather isn't cracked, dash isn't cracked, no sunfades, everything electronic still functions besides the back light on the ODO.

I placed an order to do a full LED interior conversion on the interior and the licence plate area, and ordered my first batch of materials to give making my own LED turn signals, and ordered sequential modules for more excitement.

                      Muahahah.

Averaged around 20mpg cruising home at the speed limit when I picked it up using really rough calculations. The jeep got around 23, so it'll be fine.

All in due time, body work is going to happen but let me get a start on the build first.

Maybe I need to wait until I do a few more things before I throw the SSRs on...

if youre going lower im sure you already know the problem spots sch as oil pan clearance. i heard you could raise the engine a bit which will help. upper strut towers may have to be cut. other tahn that you seem like youre off to a good start. i heard serial nine are pretty good. they in the same country as me and i still havent bought parts off them yet lol
