So,i´ve managed to get some wheels ;mercedes benz 17x8,et43 in very bad shape+4x 1cm
    spacers for 100 euros(all 4)

after some sanding you can clearly see the diffrence

tried them on the car and lowered it some more,in the front without spacers ,in the rear with 2cm spacers 205/50r17 allaround(front fenders had to be rolled)

since then i´ve been dailying the sh*t out of it(around 60 000 km in a year)

    Comment,rate enjoy,****,....

Tnx,I am glad that you like the car.

next upgrade was interior and sound sistem(couldn´t just put huge 60l box for subwoofer becose i am alwas traveling with someone and need the space for bags,so came up with this)

First I made a fiberglass box

        then from wood upper plate

then drilled a hole for subwoofer and made spaceser to lift the speaker around 5 cm to clear the box

then fiberglassed everything together, made 3 brackets,so it can be bolted directly to the car

and almost finished, samo minor trimming to the fabric needed

so then the interior ,menaged to get lether/alcantra interior form 2004 b5.5 passat
        so old out

        and the new in

its not brand new.but it will have to do

also did the roof(it was all hanging)in black with some more sound isolation and pillars in comic like fabric

then i´ve been thinking about 18" ,a frend bought same amg wheels,so
18x8,5 et41(ish) and 2cm spacer in the rear

i rearly liked it so decided to get me some, and i did mercedes benz 18x8,5 et45 and Nexen N8000 205/40r18 allaround

rears ,need at least 2 cm spacer

so 2 cm spacer(and bolt 6cm long-and itś not enough, only 4-5 threds holding-becose the heart on these is so fat-theyŕe form 300td amg mercedes-benz i guess they have to hold around 500NM of torque)so proaboably will go for at leat 25mm spacer on rears

        front

        check for rubbing

        needs moar lowwwww(and spacers)

soo now is 18x8,5 205/40r18 front et33 rears et23(thats really drivable, need to get difrent spacers ,rear coilovers maxed out without any pads ,front has about 1 cm to go lower

        and picture from local show

        hope you like the car

while waiting the winter to pass(on steliees and 4x4 mode) always wanted fog lights, but for pre facelift model that was option only in china, and had disgusting lower grill(net insted of rails) do i traced audi a4(1999) front bumper with fog lights and decided to fit them on passat

          so bumper off

it´s not direct fit, same trimming was required of the foglight cover and lower grill,

you can see the difference and trimming required

tight fit so it doesn¨t wooble

3 bracket had to be made(later bracket edges were rounded)

with bumper mounted on the car

on the right side one horn(lower one) had to be relocated(or removed)

          finished

unfortunately didn¨t take pictures of wiring, one wire had to be added to the original light swich(wire number 8 i think) and a relay, classic 4 pin one,and a 15A fuse,i stole the pozitive wire(+) from under the reelays, and instaled everything so that it looks origanl(in reelay box)and just pulled one wire from reelay thru the firewal(i used the same hole where the cable for opening front hood goes)and the ground vas directly from shassis under the bumper directly to the fog lights

originaly the reelay number is 381 and it´s pink
