  • a nice volvo build

Hey guys, I bought myself this 2000 volvo v70 glt this past october and now that summmer has rolled around I'm getting more stuff done and just now getting a thread started. I've already gotten quite a few things done so this first post might be a doozy
    Here we go!

first things when I got it were minor cosmetic stuff, passenger mirror was cracked and rear wiper didnt work and little stuff like that and the interior looked terrible.
over the winter i did some small replacement things to make it look good all around and then I started on the interior.

I completely redid every seat by hand sewn stitching and some rad walmart fabric I found.

I did an intake and BOV pretty early on too, then since I've done full turbo back exhaust and a 16t turbo upgrade thats yet to be tuned.

I got some BC racing coilovers that took a month to arrive only to have the wrong rear coils, so I am waiting again to receive the right rear coils. (hopefully here any day now)

I went to denver about a week ago and bought some 1988 35th anniversary corvette sawblades that I worked to restore. they're 17x9.5 and i got some 215 45 17s to stretch on.

Love it, those wheels are actually really nice. Might need spacers if your natural camber is going to be as much as I'd guess, but none the less, looks really good.

I'm ordering adapters from adaptec on monday for sure and I'm rolling fenders tomorrow. I just borrowed a friends roller for the next week. Im thinking, for the front, about trying to get the fenders pulled a bit with the rolller. is that a possibility? I feel like its been done before for sure but I don't really know. tire mount should come early next week as well.

The rear fenders were double thick and didn't get as flat as I would've hoped but I also have more room in the rear than the front.

And then I coated em with bondo's version of plastidip to hopefully prevent rust a bit.

Thanks fortbrick! I used to have an 87 760 turbo before this guy. I freakin loved that thing. I still see mine around town here and there haha.

Also did this little battery relocation thing. trying to get some more airflow to the intake. thinking about relocating it entirely to the rear somewhere too.
