I've been a member here for a while now, while I spend 90% of my time lurking the forums with not much too say, I've decided to step out from the shadows and list my car. Yes, I need to make a build thread and yes, I need to pull a finger out and get motivated haha.
Alright, I was driving around a Ford BA Falcon when I first attained my licence which I purchased written off. Thankfully my dad is a panel beater and runs his own shop locally.

Four weeks later, I was tired after a big weekend, lost concentration and wrote the dam thing off again
So, dad and I repaired it again. But this time, it was dragged out over 5 months just so he could teach me a lesson. After driving it around for just over a year, I was in and out of a couple of jobs. Money was short for fully comprehensive insurance and me being me, thought, yeah, I'm a great driver and wont stack again....
Well wasn't I wrong. I made love to the rear end of a BRAND NEW Holden VE sports wagon.
Well! Did that just make my day... NO insurance and a huge bill heading my way. For both cars!

After having it towed back to dads shop....yes, again.... and crawling back though that door with my tail between my legs. We had it repaired in just two weeks. I had to get it out of there and back on the market. The bastard of a thing was cursed I tells ya'.
It came out spot on!
I couldn't pick a thing with it! On the plus side, each time the car was written off (on exceeding the value to repair it over structual damage) the car was never registered as a written off car though insurance, I had no dramas selling it. Although I did pass it off as the cheapest car on the market.
In the mean time, I had flown up to Sydney 9 months before selling my Ford to purchase my current E36 320i. So far, this one hasn't had to much luck either. Maybe its me?
After negotiating a price I was happy with I drove it back to Melbourne and only once I had pulled up into my drive way; just a mere 12 hour drive from where I picked it up. I opened the glove box to find that the previous owner had messed around with the Dash cluster and removed a HUGE amount of KM's from the clock. From what I was able to put together, the car had a logged BMW service at 200,000 in 2002. I came across some papers in the glove box that had the car registered in 07 at 280,000 and again at 260,000 in 08. after I purchased it with 220,000 in 2012! That's right, do the maths. NOTHING makes sense. The seller played dumb and denied knowing anything about it. Authorities couldn't do much about it either. But hey, it drove the whole 12 hours without skipping a beat. So I'm not too fussed about it, if it blows up, ill drop another in it. Well that's the plan.
Sorry, I don't have any pictures of it worth showing. But after chasing a road worthy I had it parked in a temporary storage yard that my dad owns with his shop while I was obtaining the necessary parts to get it passed.
While it sat there for a couple of nights, I had my TWO front wheels STOLEN
And did that make me mad!!

Those scum bags didn't even have the decency to jack of some sort of support but instead decided that the guards would be suitable. Leaving even more damage than any standard wheel theft. The wheels didn't bother me, they looked crap and the chrome was corroding anyway.
It sat as it is for almost 4 months after a lack of motivation and police investigation.
Yeah, they caught the local scum that did it too. But, as these shit kickers lived out of home and with no reasonable income, they simply got a slap on the wrist, some community service and that was it! NO bill for my damages and repairs at all. But hey, justice is served in more ways than one. I'm sure of it.
But anyway. I pulled a finger out and decided to give it a full respray because it was starting to peel anyway.
I'll leave all my other step by step photos for my build thread one day but here she is as of the last few weeks.

I love this shot, even with such bad lighting and a phone camera it really shows the previous faded alpine white compared to the white I've chosen. ''White Tinter"

I picked up a nice set of BBS RC/ Style 5's with the thanks of Dr.AK all they way from the motherland to replace the stolen shoes.

So, that's where my story ends for now; until the weekend when I can get a chance to finish assembling the parts.
