In October of 2013, I sold my 1999 Miata(hence username) for a great price. The plan was to invest in a slightly more powerful car with a longer wheelbase, RWD, to actually take drifting more seriously and drive in events and what not.
But deep inside me I always find that voice telling me to lower it, to fit the best wheels I can get; to just stunt. So that is the plan.
Right now, the e36 is not looking the prettiest at all. It's got dents, it's got rust, but she runs like champ. I really want to paint her, but part of me also wants to retain all the blemishes.
Here she is; from the day I bought her to how she sits today.
1993 BMW 325i (m50b25) 195k original miles
These arrive a week later. BC Racing BR Type Extreme Low 10k/12k
The initial dump
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Had the bumper plastidipped for a few weeks, and had installed a welded differential. You can see the car had been put through its rounds already. Bumper tabs and lip cracked when I hit a curb at our spot.
Picked up a set of Riken Mesh 16x8.5 for a crackhead price
In it's 4x4 glory, ready for our first drift event!

2nd gear; only got four runs in! Was going to flip my tires but pushed my luck on the fourth run and the tires were toast.
I got bored, so I machined the faces. I always loved the look of old school JDM wheels such as SSR Reverse mesh.
Oh ya, I also cut my fenders
Decided to increase the camber by using around 8mm in camber shims. Had to run 20mm(or 25mm?)spacers so the top of the wheels would clear the coilovers
Camber shims + maxed out camber plates(BC Coilovers). Eyeballing close to -7 or -8 degrees of camber? Don't really fucking know.
How she was rolling that night. I'm not driving with this much camber on the daily, though.
Decided to polish up the wheels!
How she looks currently. Picture was taken at SoWo this past month. Tires are huge, I know.
Plans are to get my dream wheels within three months. I won't say much, but they will be Japanese make
Just ordered some STICKERS and a nostalgic Japanese piece for the interior. Will post up as soon as they arrive. later this week!
