  • Canadian R34 Skyline build

Hey guys, my name is Zach and I own an R34 Nissan Skyline 25 GT Turbo coupe! I imported this car from Japan myself about 4 months ago. I have BIG plans for this car, so I have decided to start a build thread on it. i started my build on the intro section, but now im transfering it to the builds section, so heres whats happened so far....

Bought off a stranger on the other side of the world through email off of these 2 low quality pictures, not knowing anything about the car except for the colour and how many kms it has.

About a month and a half later she finally arrived!!! it was filthy, i guess thats what happens to a car when its on a boat for a month.

After a quick polish i realized the car was in mint condition, no dents, scrapes, rust etc... except the paint on the trunk was faded, and the headlights and reverse lights were foggy. but that was no problem, i took the parts off and brought them to a body shop i was volunteering at, and i refinished everything myself.

after that i cleaned the engine bay, and it looks brand new!

im planning on keeping the stock rims until its time to get custom ones fitted to the car once my widebody GTR conversion is done. until then i added 30mm bolt on spacers all around to give it a more aggressive look.

i noticed that the right rear reverse light on r34 GTR's are a red fog light.

so instead of buying a gtr red reverse/fog light online i thought i should make one myself. the reverse light came out with just 1 bolt under the plate (easy). gave the light a quick wet sand with 800 grit paper, then gave it 4 coats of red tint, and topped it off with 2 coats of clear. came out amazing! saved me about $200 and a month of waiting time to receive a GTR light.

The R34 my favorite of the R3X series. And yes please keep it clean. Also look into getting a front GTR Bumper, MUCH better looking IMO.

yes it is, believe it or not this is only the 2nd set of rims ive done. plastidip is probably one of the easiest things to spray.

i actually have every part needed to do a full GTR widebody conversion, just saving up enough money for a paint job before i start installing anything. front bumper that i bought is a VIS racing Nismo GTR bumper.
