    Default My latest project

1984 CB650 Nighthawk. My buddy Tyler did the pinstriping and gold leaf because I have zero artistic talent.

What Matt didn't mention is the story behind the number "55" on the tank. But I won't spoil the fun

But yeah.....I have seen the bike in person numerous times. Awesome sauce.

The 55 on the side of the tank represents my new shop that I opened in November named FACTORY 55. My grandfathers favorite/lucky number is 55, so the shop was named in honor of him.

I took a few pictures of it in different stages, but I don't have enough for a build thread because I kept forgetting to stop and take pictures of each step. I'm impatient and wanted to get it done

These are the only ones that I had that weren't taken with a cell phone. I'll try to get some more soon.

I got the bike dirt cheap because I got it from a friend but all said and done I probably have about $1500 total in the build because I tried to make as much stuff as possible out of scrap metal I had laying around.

    Love the bike.

    Is that the factory tank?

The pinstriping and gold leaf bring this bike to another level. Makes me want to do another Cafe project.
