Default Insane, Bagged, Widebody, Ruined 350z !

I had an insanely loud, low and slow, ruined, widebody, automatic e36, that was gonna be boosted and 6sp swapped, but i found out that the amount of rust made it foolish to keep putting money into it. Before I knew of the rust, I bought a caca-load of parts for it, rocket bunny rep kit, work vs-kf's and 6inch lips for the rear, new aero and lights etc. But sold em all (for a profit)

Took me 3 days to go from modded, to stock, and shell sold.

After a couple days of looking at cars, and actually being on my way to buy a car. I was in traffic, and ended up looking on craigslist. Low and behold. A gem popped up. This beautiful beast.

Was posted for $8k , ended up texting the guy asking when I could come look at it. Called the guy who's car I was going to buy and told him id get back to him. Next day I went to go see the car. (seen here)

After I went to go see it I knew what I had to do, strip to get the last $500 needed to buy it. JK. I stripped for the first $5k, my pops loaned me the last $500 . Why $5500 ? Well im a brokeboi and I had to buy some other stuff, so I didnt have the $6500 needed to buy it with the CCW wheels. (i wish i did)

Bought the car, and put some 350z/04 maxima whatever stock wheels on it, and had my pops drive it home.
I didn't know how to drive stick, so I wasn't gonna do it. This is my first stick car, and its one hell of a car to learn on, let me tell yah.

anyhow, ill be updating this, sub to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/Imschwaggy350z

That looks insane buddy and props for just cutting it up yourself and just going for it. Now I have a question about the rear end there, when you roll up that inner fender lining, will you weld that? It seems to me that it should be welded up from a structural point of view. Then sealed with something so you don't get moisture in there.
Also what are you using to secure that kit to the body, just sheet metal screws? And what can you do about the gaps in a few places between the kit and body, put double sided tape or something along those lines?

all in all it looks killer with those wheels, I am definitively feeling jealous

im mostlikely gonna use the spray foam, then fiberglass over it. also going to fiberglass the backs of the overfenders so they're a little bit sturdier. never used any of this stuff so its gonna be a learning process. (i dont have any welding experience, and ive seen people use both methods with similar results. I did this with my e36 and literally just hammered it down, and sprayed over it. was perfectly fine after a year and i live in mass where it snows and salt gets everywhere to cause rust.

thanks by the way, check out my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/imschwaggy350z all of my updates go there first usually. im gonna try to be more active here though. i like seeing my old stuff laid out like this.
