There’s no question that Bag Riders has positioned themselves as the go-to for air suspension, moving the air buying experience forward by leaps and bounds. In their mindset of always moving forward, the crew at Bag Riders is known for their unique builds such as their wood-grain Honda Odyssey or their bagged Subaru STi. It comes as no surprise that this time, they’ve brought out what we consider to be an entirely unique example of the E92 chassis.
StanceWorks has become known for throwing quality events at unique venues each year, and the first annual Avila Motoring Invitational was no different. Hosted on the freshly trimmed grass of the Avila Beach Golf Resort’s 10th and 18th fairways, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and small beach town, the Avila Motoring Invitational was put together to provide a destination weekend for fellow stance enthusiasts.
Almost two years ago, Austin Lee’s EF Honda Civic was featured here on STANCE|WORKS, and to this day it is one of the few executed with such cleanliness. Followed up by a bagged 350Z and now this beautifully done Y33, it should be no surprise that Austin is sticking to his roots of simple, clean, and to the point. It’s a recipe that has served him well, having turned out 3 notable cars at the impressively young age of 21.
We’re finally home from SEMA, one of the largest automotive trade shows in the world. SEMA, which stands for Specialty Equipment Market Association, holds the annual SEMA Show once a year, allowing buyers, sellers, and exhibitors to congregate across 2 million square feet of exorbitantly extravagant booths and cars. It is the industry’s ultimate networking tool, allowing companies to meet one-on-one to further their businesses.
Up next on our list of SEMA build unveils is VIP Modular’s own widebody E61. In the weeks approaching the event, you expect most companies to be tearing in to cars in preparation for their big day. New wheels, new suspension, maybe even a vinyl wrap, all in hopes of getting done by the deadline. VIP, however, tore down an already-good car in order to build the behemoth you see before you; all within a month before the big reveal.
