When it comes to our photography and the content that we generate, we’ve always felt it important to follow our hearts. Our passion for cars drives us forward every day to create the things that you find here on StanceWorks, and I follow the same motivation as I design the goods that grace the Lowly Gentlemen store.
We’ve arrived at the year’s busiest holiday once again, and along with the rest of the world of retail, there’s lots to share here at the Lowly Gentlemen. We’ve brought about store-wide discounts for everything in stock as we make way for the upcoming LG lineup; we’ve got all-new plate frames just in time for the holiday, and best of all, we’re excited to announce Andrew’s latest art print in celebration of Rusty Slammington’s return.
Today, I released the fourth Lowly Gentlemen print in an ongoing series of artwork meant to introduce automotive passion to the world of interior decorating. This particular composition is one that has been sitting at the back of my mind for some time now. I have always wanted to mesh my background in oil painting with the more refined blueprint style that I’ve developed in my automotive work.
It seems rare that a Daily Grind update offers a chance to share so much, but a lot has happened at the StanceWorks HQ since our last report. From new parts and new art, to new cars, both big and small, we’ve been having fun this summer.
Easily the most exciting update is the announcement of the latest Lowly Gentlemen art print. Hand drawn by Andrew once again, the latest limited-number print features a draft drawing of Mercedes’ famous Sauber C9 prototype race car.
Today marks the halfway point between Spring and Summer: the weather is at its best, and it’s just a few weeks more until the Summer heat takes over. The big season-openers are beginning, with Worthersee bringing out Europe’s top winter builds, and SoWo set to do the same for the States. The winter’s lull has given way to summer’s momentum, and here in Southern California, we’re excited to launch the new Lowly Gentlemen apparel for 2015.
