The week leading up to Sunday had been cold and wet; as per usual Melbourne weather was doing its thing. As I woke up and walked outside, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Not a cloud in the sky. It was extremely fresh, but with nothing but blue skies as far as the eye could see, I was content in the hope that it was going to be a fantastic day.
I didn’t quite know what to expect.
Tailored-Seattle, is finally upon us. To get everyone a little more jazzed, photo-connoisseur Mike Kippen put together a trailer with the dashing Mike Gilbert as his subject. Get ready folks… only gets better from here!

Many of you have been wondering why we moved out to California and what we’ve been doing this whole time…It’s time to give you the answer:
2 years ago, this community and the passion for automobiles brought 3 men together from across the country. With talents and visions that complimented each other perfectly, they grew as close friends and as a team. It became clear that they all had something to say, and a passion that needed to be expressed.
If there is anything we’ve been pushing as a website in 2011, it has been that this scene is as much about the people that make it up as it is about the cars. Sometimes we share the stories of new faces, bringing to light the fresh ideas and builds they are contributing to the scene. However, sometimes we share the stories of those who have helped build the scene we know and love.
As most of us station ourselves at desks in front of our computers and peruse the latest threads on our favorite forums or check the newest fitment blog updates, it’s easy to lose sight of the people and personalities that lie behind each car. Behind each car is a builder with an unquestionable passion for cars just like you and me.
