  • The Swiss e28

    hello,
this my e28 528i, i bought it one week ago, it is 1986 and it has 148000 kilometers. it is for the moment full original.
my project with this car is clear, i want the car scratch the ground, classic wheel and
    stretch tires.

For the wheel I have found BBS rs 212 that i will rebuilt, how widht would you make the wheel?
But i need help for the stance, GC coilover is good? cutting the springs can break somethings?

there is some pics of the car.

Nice blank slate to work with. GC's are very good I am thoroughly impressed with the quality, support, and customer service of GC. However upon placing your order for the springs tell them you want a 5 or 6 " spring for the rear shocks. The 7" rear springs have my car sitting with a severe front rake even after cutting the bump stops.

I wish I could find one in that good of condition. Cutting the springs will more than likely blow your shocks if you keep them stock and you might bust your oil pan from being low, but it's not likely it will break anything else.

I m happy today, i receive my new wheel for the e28.
so the wheel are not in very good condition but i don't care because i will rebuilt them.
I buy those wheel for only a few coins to a old man.

          it s bbs rs 197 8.5x17 ET13 and 9.5x17 ET13.

i need your help to find the good configuration for my car.
what colour ? size of the lips?

i was thinkings to do 9.5 for the front and 10.5 for the rear, paint the center of the wheel with the same colour of the car, and put gold screw and gold caps.

very clean car. Can't wait to see it with the wheels on. Personally I would do a full polish on the wheels maybe gold bolts, but that would be an all-time classy look!

It is a complete kit. You will need to modify the struts unless you remove them and have GC redesign and powdercoat them.
