Up Fs is my 2002 Wagon. Awesome car. Driven the hell out of it and its mechanically perfect. Things have been changed/ updated vs. whats on this list but for the most part its all there. sits on roti's.
This is a clean title, german built (WVW vin) GLX wagon that was originally a 12v VR6 5 speed car. You could never get GLX options with a TDI, so I put a TDI in a GLX.
I picked this wagon up in July of 2013 from a guy in Indianapolis. It clearly had not been taken care of. The interior was dirty and the vr6 in it had a misfire, exhaustleak, bad coolant leak, and a ton of timing chain noise. I bought it with the intention of doing a TDI swap. A friend of mine had totaled his TDI sedan and I bought it as a donor car, this was great because I knew the history of maintenance. I did all of the work by myself over the course of about 2 months. First startup of the swap was January 1st, 2014. I have since put almost 20k miles on the car and it has averaged 44mpg. There is currently 201k miles on the body going up daily, the engine has 23k more than the body (cluster reflects body mileage). Feel free to ask any questions. $8500 obo
