  • 2004 Subaru Impreza 2.5TS Build

Hey guys, so I picked up this 2004 Subaru Impreza 2.5TS. It is a 5-speed 2.5 non-turbo (for now...) I bought it exactly how you see it, with 124k on everything. I have big plans for the winter, but for now I'll be making it look better before winter. After winter comes the coilovers and fresh new wheels, but you guys will see that soon. So, there's a little sneak peak of what you should expect to see. Here's some pics of it now, and soon it won't look anything like this. (Sorry about the quality of the pics, a new camera's coming soon.) Stay tuned for more updates, thanks guys!

She's getting some pretty new headlights this week..

A little rust on the wheel well on the other side, but it is being fixed right now.

    More coming soon!!! Stay Tuned!

                Looking and Sounding Mean

Hey guys, it's been a while, I have been neglecting the forums do to work and stuff. But I installed new red Hella horns, and new debadged grille, and a Tsudo exhaust. The exhaust is a 4.5 inch tip, so it adds to the booty. I'm waiting until November 1st to buy my new rims. So until then, it's gonna be a little slow, I'm redoing my speakers and subs. So stay tuned if you're into that! If not, check in every now and then, maybe the rims will come in earlier! Thanks guys!

                The Beast as it stands:

I'd love to hear feedback and ideas! Thanks for looking! Stay tuned for more!

Would've just buffed up the original ones, but, I'm not a fan of aftermarket headlights.

I enjoy how clean it makes the front end look. I was never a fan of halos myself until I saw them on this car.

                        Update

So on Monday I'm going to pick up a new hood for the Subie. I'm painting the new one black. Also I'm picking up some ESR SR01 wheels to replace my ugly ass steelies. And my Raceland coil overs are coming in soon, trying to decide between the average ones or the Ultimos. So from now until about Thanksgiving is when all this is happening, along with me redoing all my sound system this week. If you're into that then check in later this week! Thanks guys

                          Troubles

So today the Subaru got all sorts of messed up with an engine light and the idle was horrible and the engine was sputtering. It felt like it was misfiring hard so I scanned it and I have a misfire in cylinders 1 and 3. There's a decent amount of oil on the boots so I'm redoing all my gaskets in the valves and plugs tomorrow, as well with the plugs, wires and cleaning my MAF. Hopefully it'll be back to running top! I'll post some pictures after its all done.

                            Back to life!

Hey guys, so today I had to redo all my gaskets in my valve cover and plug gaskets, along with my plugs and wires. My engine was running off only 2 cylinders and it was idling really hard. Now, it seems to be running top, hopefully it stays that way. But overall, it was a fairly easy job, just annoying because all this was so random.

                            Fuck these Subaru engines...

Replacing all the gaskets under the valve cover

These were the culprits of my dying engine

Hopefully it stays running top and I don't have anymore problems for now. If it stays this way, you'll see more mods from me soon! Thanks guys.

                              Sorry for the Neglect

Hey guys, a lot has been going on with the Subaru, including engine work, sound systems and new wheels. Tomorrow I'll show how she sits, and I'll go more into the sound system and such. Thanks for the views guys, I'm going to start getting back into my forum starting now! Stay tuned for more! Also, follow my Instagram for frequent pics of the car and how it's doing @paulhurd125.

                              Thanks again guys!
