I'm selling my Mauritius Blue 1993 325i Convertible. It has 99k original miles, odometer still works, whole gauge cluster still works for that matter. It's got a tan sport interior, and it's a 5 speed manual. The top is original Navy, with no tears. It's been a southern car its whole life, originally bought in NC, no rust. I never drove it in the winter. I've owned it since Spring 2014. Guy who had it before me bought it for his daughter but she didn't want to drive a manual and he almost never drove it, only owned it for a couple months. It sat for about 12 years before he bought it. Originally owned by some doctor I think, and the father bought it from him, so I'm the third owner (pretty sure about that).
It's on air suspension pieced together by Open Road Tuning and installed by Eurowise in Charlotte. It's got AirLift 75563 sleeve-over-strut fronts, Air House 2 rear bags, dual Viair compressors, and a seamless tank (mounted in the trunk right behind the rear seats). I've had the air system on there for over a year and I've never had any problems with it. Eurowise also machined some half inch risers for the motor, and now the oil pan sits flush with the subframe.
Last summer I took it to Carmine's Import Service in Kernersville NC and had them do a few repairs and a lot of preventative maintenance - totaling to about $4k of work (I have paperwork). Off the top of my head I remember them doing the timing belt, new steering rack, shit ton of new gaskets, new guibo, I think a number of different bushings, etc. I will supply paperwork detailing everything to potential buyers.
Negatives:
-There is a very small leak on the passenger side. It collects a few drops on the sun visor when it rains really hard, but doesn't leak in a light rain.
-Paint is original. It's got a couple of clear coat issues on the trunk lid. Needs a respray. Something I planned on doing but didn't because I put that ridiculous suspension on it and that shit wasn't cheap. Priorities, right?
-Small tear on lower side bolster of driver's seat.
-Needs new emblems.
-Dampers that hold up the deck lid where the soft top folds up are shot, needs new ones.
-Glove box handle broke off a while ago.
Positives:
-It's as close to 100% mechanically sound as a 23 year old car can be.
-High quality modification
-It's got a Vibrant muffler on it, sounds really good but it's not terribly loud.
-Low miles.
-Tires on the stock 14"s are essentially new.
The car is really in awesome condition aside from the paint. That's the only thing that bothered me.
I have sold the Meisters on it in these photos, it is on stock basketweaves now. I did a stud conversion to it and it has real Project Kics R40 lugs on it. Reason being I ran 15mm spacers all the way around on the Works.
It's really a blank canvas, and it's already bagged, so jump on it!
I'm looking for $8,000. I'm interested Subaru BRZ parts plus cash as well. NO TRADES.
