Hello Stanceworks,
I have been browsing Stanceworks for over a year now drooling over different build threads and I love seeing how much time and effort people put into their cars, as well as all the positive energy and comments.
I have been lucky enough to come across a 2004 Audi Ultrasport, black on black, 1.8L turbo, 6 speed manual.. It is a car I have always loved, so I decided to drive 13 hours to Quebec to check it out with the hopes of buying it(Not many of these cars come up for sale near me, and when they do, they are always overpriced) After going over the car for an hour and checking out its history, it was mine and I drove all the way home with a huge smile on my face.
The Ultrasports came with upgraded front and rear bumpers, a tuned and lowered sport suspension, side skirts, RS4 wheels, small spoiler and a few other small adjustments.
Here she is the day I picked her up.. Don't mind the horrible plasti-dipped rear lights.

As soon as I got home, we got right to work on all the essentials
-Oil change
-Oil filter change
-Coolant flush
-Checked all hoses
Then had it inspected, saftied and etested.(Canadian laws)

Car stayed exactly how I got it(Besides the plastidip lights.. I took that off immediately) for a month or so as I was working a lot on my summer break.
One thing that really bothered me was the amount of rust on the body.. See here

So I decided to do some research and found out that Audi has a 12 year rustcare program that covers any rust issues you have on the vehicle. I jumped all over it, and immediately started my claim with the local dealership, who then submitted the claim to Audi.. We hassled with them over it for a few months(Just as the forums said we would) and sent numerous emails and pictures back and forth with the dealership! Long story short, they gave me two brand new front fenders and one rear and paid for some rust care damage around the car. To be plain and simple, I had the car totally removed of rust and had a partial respray and paint correction.
Heres the car in the shop!

So the car took about two weeks, two painfully long weeks! Meanwhile at school we like to put construction cones on our friends cars...

Back on track.. Here is the car right back from the shop. Literally brand new body.. Rust erased! I cannot thank J&J Dominion Body and Collision enough for their great work.

Then my window regulator failed and I had no driverside window.. Common problem with the B6 chassis.

Next week my coolant flange starts to go on me! Spent an afternoon changing it and doing another flush.

Here is a little project I had going, but sold it to focus on the Audi.. A 2001 Volkswagen GTI, 1.8Turbo with a 5 speed manual transmission. I had it on Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers and a small turboback exhaust.

I picked these up for the Audi because I was ballin on a budget.. DAI Autobahn wheels 18x8.5 with a +35 offset. They came red, I stripped them and sent them for a powdercoat by a friend.

I never mounted them, as I decided I wanted something better..
Sold the wheels.
Here is my car with my brothers 7.3 powerstroke diesel F250..

Then was out in Massachusetts with my family and saw this clean GTI.. Makes me miss mine.. Sigh

Whoever built it, you did a damn good job! It was so clean.
Then I picked up a B7 Audi center console and started the swap(It gives you two cuplholders)

It was so filthy underneath the old console..

My girlfriend helped me clean everything out before it went back in, she is awesome and supports everything I do with this car. Dream girl right?

Here is the final product, sorry it is kind of dirty! It is a great swap and look better than the old console.

So my car has been the same for the last little bit as it is winter here in Ontario.. But I did pick up a roof rack and snapped a few pics before it snowed! She also got a nice detail..

So as we move through winter, I am planning the cars new setup.. It will be completely different in the spring..
Picked up a set of 19x10 Rotiform Cast SNA's powdercoated candy copper.. It was time for real wheels..
I lack photos of the following modifications, just as some were done by the previous owner, and some I totally forgot to take pictures.
How she sits right now..
-Unitronic stage 1+ chip
-Forge Splitter valve
-Turboback exhaust
-APR 3" tips
-Kenwood double din
-Single xenon headlights
-De-badged hatch
-B7 center console
I would love to see some feedback from you guys.. I am open to ideas on specs and more.
