  • Imola Yellow B5S4 Build Thread

Whats up guys, It's been a while since ive posted much on stanceworks. But last time i was on here I had my 240 but moved on to a 2002 TRD tacoma that had a slight lift, and was supercharged.

I bought it because my second 240 was undergoing a 5.0 swap but life happened, parents moved and i didnt want to pay to maintain 2 vehicles and pay rent. so i sold them both and enter the Imola S4

Car was practically stock. It had an AWE Tuning Twin2 exhaust and an AWE Tuning boost gauge. the wheels were plastidipped gray/black. She was purchased in August of last year, I owned the car maybe a week before I started modding it. First purchase was a set of raceland ultimo coilovers (i know, i know)

Had the filler plate sent off to be shaved. Met a fellow imola owner in my area which was pretty cool!

A little while after that I went to a buddies house to do my downpipes, but we took a few shots first.

Next purchases were a roof rack, which i planned on using to go snowboarding that winter (which never ended up happening) and a set of replica RS4 wheels

During the winter months i also cracked the front bumper from a pile of snow a plow left in the middle of the road while driving home from work one night

Decided it would be smart to go stage 3... Ordered SRM K24 RS6 turbos, SRM intercoolers, 60lb injectors, B6 S4 MAF, silicone hose kit, along with a bunch of other things to freshen up the engine, new pcv system, valve cover gaskets, new coil packs and plugs.

    Starting it off.

    After the engine was out

They really stuffed the engine in this bay... but It was finally ready to go back in...

And here she is back in.

Did an thing and bought a set of new (at the time) Rotiform SPF cast wheels in 18x9.5 et35. I fell in love with these when i saw the pictures of them and i just had to have them

My front bumper was fucked basically, so once i got the bitch running again I decided to just drive it without the bumper til i bought another one

Bought an RS4 bumper that i had shaved

Got it on and had my buddy Suhail take some pictures of it. I kinda fell in love with my car again at this point...

She needed front brakes badly so i decided to buy some 18z's for her, the following picture is comparing the caliper to my foot

And the fitment behind an 18" wheel

Then came the shitty part... My car was keyed. like the WHOLE FUCKING THING. I was up in Canada on vacation and came back to every single panel on the car keyed... fought with insurance which ended up covering about 2/3rds of the damage so i forked up the rest. i wasnt going to give up on a car i just sunk so much into that easy. The body shop had the car 3 weeks sanding the whole car down and respraying it. The only upside to it was having a brand new paint job, so i couldnt really argue...

Went to Staggered and had an amazing time with my friends. I think it was the only show i went to that year because my car was down for most of the beginning of the year lol.

I did another thing after that

Now i leave you guys with a bunch of shots from after the air was installed. Hope you enjoy!

How do you like the airlift struts as far as harder driving goes? I'm thinking those are what I want to go with when I eventually put my B6 on air.
