  • New daily driver - e46, PSS10, Mitos

Hey guys, I finally feel like sharing this car. Bought it super cheap a few months ago and have been buying things as needed. Just put my wheels on last night because I finally scored some decent free tires.

When I bought the car, it had the worst shocks I've ever personally driven on. So the first order of business was to install the PSS10s. I bought them used (used as hell)

Next to green e46, I thought the silver car was low until I compared them

Old wooden shift knob was broken, and I had a leather M knob out of my old e30. It also needed a new hood roundel, which I also had sitting around.

Car has plenty of dings and scratches, plus a few rust spots.

Next, I bought an e39 M5 steering wheel with airbag, it was only $100 shipped.

And then, all of a sudden, 2 window regulators died.

Bought an OEM M3 front sway bar for $50, and all new endlinks and bushings.

And finally, last night, threw on the OZ. They're 17x8.5 et13 with 215/45.

More pics to come! Driver's side rubs... pretty badly for now.

looks good for a daily !

how come your wheels dont rub like crazy ? I´ve had some 8,5 et13 with 215/45 on my car before I changed to my current setup and I it was rubbing like everywhere even with my fenders cut out.

It's probably something to do with the shape of the sidewalls between our two tires. My camber is really minimal too, it wouldn't rub at all if I went a little more negative.

Looks good, kinda old school! I like it.

Also, I'm glad you still got the green one!

Hell yeah. Got the green one when it had around 30k miles. Never getting rid of that thing.

These pics are from my Facebook, posted January of 2007. Lol.

Had to take the wheels off... finally got a good snow storm this year.

Believe it or not, this car did just fine, even before the roads were plowed. Just using the Michelin all-seasons that came with the car. Color me impressed.

I love it! So clean and simple. Must be really fun to drive with the PSS10s.

Dug the green one out of my parents' garage, had to take some pics of the two cars together.
