CLP: Photos & Ideas
Let's see some custom license plates. I am not sure if I want to spend money on that, so I want to see some pics and maybe get some ideas. I believe it will run me roughly $100 (Oregon). LP frames / covers or whatever goes along with it - welcomed.

Don't use someone else's idea. I want an E24 and I want the plate to say SECHS (German for "six").

Here in finland in land of big taxes custom license plate costs 1000€ and still you can use 3 letters and 3numbers.. (1-3 combo each)
example: i could go and pay 1000€ and get EXM-1..

Well I own Subaru Legacy, pretty much stock. I like numbers license plates like 888 or 001, but I am sure they all taken! Oregon LP design suck. It's just suck! it has this little green tree in the middle on blue background with dark blue letters which makes it hard to read... Here:
Here is what just randomly came up to my mind:
- HADETRE (**** THE TREE lol)
- SUBISUX (Well, I like German cars, but can't afford to maintain one yet lol)
- IMBROKE (I am just a HS student, so not really)
- LUV 69
- WANT M5
- WANTBMW (I really do
)
- EJ25 (engine abbreviation)
- FRYRICE
- CHICKEN (lol)
- DA SLOW
- 8MENOW (ate me now? Again, it's random lol)
- GT LMTD (My Legacy Trim)
- LIKENEW
I also thought about coming up with something personal, like R001 for this car and if I ever get second one it will be R002. R will stand for my name, and it's probably not taken yet. Or maybe like RT1, RT2, RT3 etc (Roman Taylor)

Here's one I had a few years ago on a BMW, also took off the badge and replaced it with 007 made from two 740 badges.

I think the Arizona Historic plates are the best I've ever seen. Both of our cars have them. You can't customize them though.

Well, Oregon got something similar to that, they offer Antique Vehicle and Special Interest license plates, but your car have to qualify for that. First only been given to collector vehicles made earlier than 1954 and second to collectors, racing vehicles, and vehicles that are older than 25 years. My car does not qualify for any of those
I like OEM PLU5 one

Mikes RS's are such whores. Those plates are nice! I need to think of something funny for the 944. We have L67otus, for our kit car (L67 is the engine designation, and it is a Lotus 7 style car.

I had SPDFRK on my e30. I thought it would be funny/cool when I got it but as time went by I started to dislike it more and more. It's just an easier way for people to identify your car.
I've moved on to RI's stupid 6 numbers plates on all my cars.
