Hello everybody,

I'm from Switzerland and this is my '81 Jetta.

A friend of mine has built it and I helped him out as best I could. The car was semi-restored and painted, the complete forepart is inherited from a Golf MK1 as you can see. Then a stainless steel exhaust system (including header) was fitted and the car was lowered by coilovers. Finally I've bought some BBS RS 001 in beautiful original condition, 15x7" sized with 185/45 tires.

There are still plenty of things to do but I think it's quite decent so far. I'll post here photos (and updates) sporadically.

All of those photos are so nice, even with the phone.

This car is beautiful. I think this might be my new favorite MK1 Jetta.

Every photo I see of Switzerland is so beautiful. Makes me want to live there.

I really want to go lower but at the moment the car sits on the minimum referring to the certificate of the coilovers (for Switzerland and its hilarious traffic regulations) and I'd need "slim" drive shafts. Aiming to go lower though!
