  • My E46 M3 build journal (NJ)

    Hello everybody,
I would like to start a build "journal" for my E46 M3. I decided it start the thread here since I'm leaning more towards a stance build. I would post in the BMW forums, but as some of you might now "if it's not a track build I'm doing it wrong".
I promised myself i wouldn't touch the car, but i like to change things around
Anyways, I owned a bunch of 1.8t mkiv vw's before and about a year ago upgraded to a beautiful M3.

    Before on ZCP wheels

On square setup of 19x9.5 zcp wheels

it's almost funny how many people have terrible experiences with WheelFlip.

Very frustrated with them...thanks for the kind words

Took a few measurements for the front splitter to be made and the cage is being shipped today. I'm going to change the color to red

Finished building my first set of three piece wheels. as of today they all done and wrapped with new tires, just waiting to install the air ride

Put the half cage in and oh boy it was a mission to install it. doing this alone is not a good idea, but got it done

Installed the GTR hood with the help of a friend. put the CF CSL lip on along with the front splitter
"have sideskirt extensions and rear diffuser to give car that aggresive look im going for"

Love the rims man. What bolt pattern are they? I also have a E46 M3 and just ordered 5 inch lips for my rear rims. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Yeah that was the plan...but after a crazy accident with my vw jetta 1.8t thought i just build more of a show car with a track look. just picked up an e36 m3 to mess around in the track as soon as i finish this.
