  • hey guys.. need a little help E36 M3

soooo some of you may know me off ig as @low_life_style. anyway im picking up an e36 bmw m3 and could use some help..

im taking my bbs rs 299 and rs300 off my jetta.. upsizing to 18.. and redrilling them to 5x120 (i refinish / build wheels for those who dont know)..

anyway.. my question is.. i want to run.

    18x10 & 10.5

problem is.. idk how this offsets going to work ... i dont have the car yet (this weekend ish) but im trying to get my ducks in a row and order lips.. (fast build)..

anyway original specs are rs 299 17x8 .5" lip et 45
    rs 300 17x9 1" lip et53

ideally.. im thinking 3" and 3.5" lips..
    so...
    18x10 3" lip et 6.9 (rs299)
    18x10.5 3.5" lip et 8.55 (rs300)

    least thats what im thinking.. a guy i know is running 17x10 17x11 3" n 4" lips et 20 & 23 respectively..

anyone have any insight on this to try and tell me where im gonna sit etc? personally i think i need to switch faces out to run the specs i wana run.. just want some clarification on that before i make any drastic moves.. i have a sh*t load of cash wrapped up in my rs now.

some other possible scenarios im debating about running are..

    front
    18x10 2.5" lip et 19.6

    rear
    18x10.5 3" lip et 21.25
    18x10.5 2.5" lip et 33.95

I am sure you can do it, probably going to need fender rolling and some pulling because of front, it also depends on which tyres and how low you and how much camber youre planning on running

Yeah I kow issue is I don't wana run much camber. I ran negative 4 and 10 on my jetta way way way too much I wana run 3 and 2.5 and be able to drive it like an m3 deserves to be driven
