  • Manta Turbo Build

This seemed to me like the best way to introduce myself.

I'm Jurgen, living in the Netherlands. I own an Opel Manta GSI made in 1988, for over 10 years now, and never driven in

I had so many ideas, but finally managed to start the restauration.

I have somekind of addiction to wheels, I have several sets for this car.

The ones that I finished lately, compomotive splits in 8x15":

And original Manta 400 Ronal wheels (rare) in 8x15" ET 23:

It will be converted to a C20LET Calibra turbo motor (orig. 204bhp), which will be upgraded to approx. 325 bhp.

There a lot more to come!

        Thanks for the reactions,

Here are some pictures of the finished gearbox (getrag 265, with adapter to fit turbo motor).

And the rear axle, with 45% LSD and 280mm vented discs.

Front axle almost finished with 300mm vented disks with 4 pot calipers.

Lowered 80mm by Bilstein shocks and Mantzel springs:

        And here my daily driver.
