• My 88 S10 Build

Sooo I picked up this 88 s10 about a week or two ago and I must say I have big plans for her. I got the car farther south in Arkansas because I was tired of looking at all the rusty ones up here in St.Louis. trying to keep body work to the minimum.Plans are to do a 5/6 drop

Update! So i was craigslist hunting for s10 parts and came across these gems. BellTech 3in lowering control arms hardly used for $125!, guy had them on his extreme and was too low for him and just wanted them gone. one step closer to getting my 5/6 drop.

Well first thing is to drop it 5/6. I just ordered a lot of suspension parts.
-Belltech street performance front shocks
-I have the 3in Belltech lowering control arms
-2in drop spindles
-3in Belltech leaf springs
-3in lowering blocks
-and Monroe Air shocks in the rear
I have also been collecting all the gray interior parts that i need so ill start posting pictures of that soon and over this winter I'm going to prep the body for paint to freshen the white up.

To sum it up I'm thinking slammed white s10 with black fender flairs on cragar window wheels with white raised lettering that will fit flush with the fender flairs. also haven't decided if i wanna change the front grill to newer gmc grill.

Nice man thank you! Yeah I am hoping that what I have envisioned for this truck is something that is clean, different and personal without looking like something that someone has already built. Not going as crazy as you though lol I love what your doing to yours tho, it is most defiantly different. keep it up man I would love to see how it progresses.

Please leave the red interior.

But if you decide to rip it out and covert to grey, dont destroy it all becuase here are people who go ape shit over red interior parts.

BTW what the hell is with all these s-10 thread all the sudden?

lol already decided to go gray, but my porno red interior currently is in good shape so I plan on keeping it around and or trying to sell it to my fellow s10 drivers. Good question I'm not sure but keep em coming!!

those are djm control arms btw.and depending on the total height of your tires, those spring pockets are going to be very close to the ground with drop spindles.

True I guess ill find out once I put them on. yeah the guy I bought the control arms from kept saying Belltech and said he got them years ago when Belltech used to sell them before their patten ran out. either way I got them for a steal.

So some more gifts arrived the other day(Belltech street performance shocks). Also went to the junkyard and scored my self a nice blazer rear bumper. cool thing about it, is that in the back of the blazer was the front grill! Untouched! so i snagged it just in case i do decide to go with that grill. hey can't beat $20
