  • MK1 Rabbit Project "The Rabid Rabbit"

I has this car back in 2011 and sold it because I didnt want to deal with the rusty floors.
This is what it looked like back then:

The car changed hands a few times and during that time good and bad things happened.
    Good:
    New floors were installed
    MK2 gti seats were added
1.8 gti motor with JH head was installed

    Bad:
The car was rattle can primered inside and out
    A side exhaust ALMOST happened
The exhaust on the car leaked like a pregnant woman

Anyway, here is what it looked when I bought it:

I bought it back and decided I wanted something for nice weather that handled and sounded awesome. So I went with some ST Suspension Coilovers, BMW Alpina 13" wheels and 175 50 13s.

Here is what it looks like currently:

I have an interior that needs my help badly.

The engine compartment is decent. (battery has been relocated to the rear)

    My plans are as follows:

The paint will be addressed over the winter. It needs some rust taken care of first.
Thank you for the compliments guys

I am going to be doing some interior work tomorrow. Mainly a false floor and dynamat.

I have installed a set of ST coilovers they just need a couple inches of drop.

The motor will get a new aba head and a set of R1 motorcycle carbs.
