  • Danish bagged Peugeot 407 SW

So I bought my first station wagon because I needed more space, but that doesn't have to be a boring thing

I started off by buying a set of airride struts from a company in the Czech republic.

And that turned out this way:

And here is a little video i made of that setup:

Here is a little video of my Peugeot 407 SW airride from Denmark. As far as I know it is the first 407 SW with airride.Let me know if you like it :)

Unfortunetley the struts was very poorly made and was leaking allover so I had to take some drastic measures and decided to make some new struts by my self, and here is how it is going:

I had some new tops made for the struts with o-ring instead of just sealant.

I bought brand new struts for the whole car, and took the bowls off so I could weld the new bottom plates to them:

I also made new top spacers, so the look was more complete instead of the washer and tube that was on the old struts.

Here is one of the struts almost complete with the bag mounted and the top on:

    More updates coming later

Don't the strut insides die of the welding heat?

                    UPDATE

The welds of the struts were made so that they had time to cool down between every weld.

Got my new wheels on the car sorry for the poor quality of the pictures

Nice machining on those front struts, just not a fan of the yellow rims, my opinion
