Hi everyone! My name is Max and I'm from Quebec,Canada. So everything starts in august last year... I'm looking on the internet for some kind of project when I see this:
Which is a 1977 Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC that had only 2 owners, with only 94 000 miles and evaluated for over $11 000, for sale at $4 000. First thing that comes to my mind: I'll buy it and sell it back, 7k in profit could make me a bunch of money for my project. Next thing you know, it's in my driveway and I don't want to sell it. Well, of course it is for sale in case someone offers me the price I'm looking for but I doubt someone will pay the exact price of the evaluation .
Because of the 6 months winter, I had to put it in storage with nothing changed on it. It looked like that before storage:
At the beginning of june, I was looking on the internet to find some wheels when I saw those beauties:
Hell yeah, some BBS RS 008.
I just dislocated my shoulder in vacation so I had nothing else to do but refurbish them. Sent them for paint at Euroldschoolers ( https://www.facebook.com/Euroldschoo...rkShop?fref=ts ), which is owned by one of my buddies, and after rebuilding them that's how they turned out:
They aren't perfect yet, they are not polished exactly like I want..
Final spec: 16x7 front / 16x8 rear
With the wheels on:
This morning, I started a little something for the trunk:
And that's pretty much where I'm at right now!
Next steps would be:
Drop it at least 2 inch in the front
Nardi steering wheel
