Im new to this so hopefully this is in the right place but i've been looking at lowering my w202 but the problem is i'm not sure in which direction to go, im only 18 and at University so don't have much money to spend on air ride and even coilovers as they are around £400 for the cheapest. So i then looked at Lowering Springs but only to find the Esprit model that I have already has lower springs than standard w202's so springs wouldn't change the ride height. So that brings me to cutting the springs I have on now, what does spring cutting entail and is it safe. Did see one guy with a stanced w202 on a youtube video saying he cut his springs as coilovers didn't give him enough lows, last thing I want is to spend money on something that isn't going to give me what i want, Thanks any advice welcome
