  • scraping local roads, daily e39

Good morning/afternoon/evening or what ever time it is right now.

Let me introduce my pe@ce of sh%t daily beater!

It's a e39, with an i6, bought as a ugly duckling, made it stock and trashed it in a way..
    Couple of first shots:

Nothing impressive. Stock wheels, chinese lamps, wing on the roof..
I have a car for 4 years now and probably will not post pictures of it evolving, but couple of shots from last season and this one.

As the sh%tty roads are all over the place, this happened.

And this year, starting with a new e38 contour seats:

    Outside list:
    FL bumpers
    FL tail lamps
    PreFL front lamps
    Matte black shadowline
    Matte black trims
    Matte black kidney grills
    Hood bra
    LED handles
    e60 window washer nozzles
    Gloss black roof
    Lip spoiler

    Inside list:
    e38 seats, contour
    e38 illuminating inside handles
    x5 4.6is cluster
    electric rear sun shade
Dension BT iphone/ipod integration with bluetooth
    10" Sub in ski hole
    e38 rear cup holders
    M sport steering wheel
    e36 shift knob
    Gloss black interior trim
    Gloss black door handles
    Gloss black cluster rings
    Removed additional cruise control button
    M black headliner
    Interior amber LED lights
    LCM2 changed to LCM3
    ...

Lots of things done to this car, but right now in preparation for the new season Im in doubts what to do. You probably saw that front wings and trunk are in a different silver code.
Just changed the parts, but still haven't repainted them to match.
Should I go for the +/- clean look, painted, polished and so on.
Or I was thinking of trashing it for the season, making the inside super clean and comfortable and outside missile like. I loved the idea of this e36. It just brings happiness without being a pain in the ass about every bump or dent.

I dig the combination of the facelift front bumper, pre facelift headlights, and facelift amber cellis tailights. Works very well together! Also thank you for not running angel eyes on a pre facelift.

              Welcome.

Pretty neato. I like this car, it's simple and well executed.

I love the OEM + look, suits the lines of an e39 very well.
