Posting this as a feeler. Just picked it up not long ago when my mk4 jetta died on me, and interested to see if it tickles anyones fancy. Its a 1998 Jetta GT, 5 speed, 146k miles (will increase as it is my daily). Engine is all stock. Paint is fairly good for a 98. Quarter size rust spot on hood and a few smaller spots on hood, along with some rust on the trunk, but truck and hood are easy to replace if you find them cheap on craigslist, and there is 0 rust on the actually body. Very few mods, great starting platform for someone. Located in CT. Don't have a price in mind, mostly interested in trades but will consider offers. On to the details:
Mods:
- Raceland Coilovers (1"-3" adjustable drop)
- Cream colored 5x130 Porsche 7 slot 16x7 wheels with brand new Yokohama S-Drive Tires
- 4x100 to 5x130 20mm adapters all around
- OEM front lip
Good:
- Very clean interior, from the seats to the cluster, everything is practically spotless
- Fairly clean body for a 98
- Runs amazing
- Brand new tires
- Comes with a set of 14" alloy wheels with good winter tires
Bad:
- Check engine on for O2 sensor, plan on replacing in the next few days. Causes the car to idol funny once in a while, but sometimes doesn't affect anything.
- Reverse pops out after about a foot. This is a common issue on the mk3's and i haven't had a chance to have it checked out but i've heard things about shift linkage, or needing a updated reverse gear, I really don't know exactly what it needs but I haven't had any issues without it. If you desperately need to reverse you can pump the reverse, but it's a light car and i haven't had any issues pushing it.
Onto the pictures:

Please let me know if I'm forgetting anything. Sorry for the low post count, I've been lurking the forums for probably a year, just never made an account. If you're interested post here or Text/Call 860-329-1695
