  • 1981 Mercedes-Benz 300SD

I am selling my 1981 Mercedes 300SD. 3.0L 5 cylinder diesel engine. Runs and looks great. Mechanic owned.

Runs great. The previous owner had the engine and injector pump rebuild, and each have about 30,000 miles one them since. Car runs like a top, and I would drive it anywhere. It has an engine block heater for those cold winter nights. Just plug it in when you go to bed and in the morning you have a warm car!

Looks great too! The color is Astral Silver, and shines bright with no sun damage or fading. The body is dent free but has a few, barely noticeable, scratches and scuffs (some might buff out). The car has chrome wheels that are in good condition with good tires. Rust free except for one half dollar size spot in the front passenger fender (can be seen in the pictures). It's somewhat noticeable but does not detract from the beauty of the car.

Interior is great too! Has vinyl seats, power windows, power locks, power sunroof, power steering, power seats, A/C, great heat, and an aftermarket Kenwood stereo. Seats are rip free and very comfortable. The dash has three cracks in it, but they aren't very bad.

Overall the car is an 8/10.
    Interior is 8/10
    Exterior is 9/10
    Mechanically 10/10

This car would make a great first car, weekend cruiser, or daily commuter. It's built like a tank. In 1981 these cars were the safest cars in the world.
35 MPG on the highway and 25 in the city.

I'm asking $4000 O.B.O. No trades. And I stress O.B.O. Call or text Clark at 7656670541 or email at clark.a.brinkley@gmail.com Located in Marion, IN

    Thanks for looking!
