  • 1973 Honda CB350 Hondachop. Bobber

    Year: 1973
    Make: Honda
    Model: CB350
    Mileage: 11,690
    Title: Clean
    Price: $3200
Contact info: Cell; 513-516-7935, Email: Matthewa1987@gmail.com

Well, I will start this off by saying I LOVE the bike, she's reliable as hell, and fun to take out and thrash/throw around, even in the corners (even though she is low slung), but I have found an opportunity knocking at my door, to buy a clean Audi Coupe Quattro, a car that I have wanted for years, and have a turbo kit sitting in my closet waiting to go on.

With that being said, we will start with the good:
Runs STRONG, starts first kick, cold natured so you gotta warm her up for a few minutes, but otherwise, good to go. Revs clean, runs through the gears clean, runs down the road straight with no wobbles or shimmys/shakes.

Bike is faster than you would expect, I'm a 6'1" 280lb rider, and she will cruise 75 mph all day long. Probably has more in her, never tried past about 80.

Forks have been rebuilt/filled with fluid, stiff, and responsive.

    Fresh oil change, 15w40.

    Heat wrapped exhaust.

2 kill switches, this will be discussed with serious buyers only, meaning cash in hand, truck at my house, trailer ready to buy my motorcycle.

Paint on the tank is in pretty good shape, being that it is 40 years old almost.

Bike has been lowered, stretched 6 inches with a custom hardtail, that is done right, all the welds are clean, and the bike looks good/rides true.

Carbs freshly rebuilt, and jetted for pod filters, could probably use a little tinkering to be a year round cruiser, seems she doesn't like the cold weather as much as the milder stuff, but whatever.

    Loud, low, and rad looking.

    Bad:
Rear fender needs painted. I can order the paint, and likely will if it doesn't sell soon.

Rear tire has some dry rot in the tread, but hasn't wore abnormally or anything, If I keep it, tire obviously would be replaced.

Small dent in the side of the gas tank.

Kick start is rigged, has a bolt through it, because of a stripped shaft. Works fine, so i'm fine with it.

Clutch cable is a little tight, never bothered me though.

    A few things I'm doing to the bike before it sells;
    Powdercoating the bars black.
    Painting the frame satin black.
Installing a new triple tree (cracked due to PO overtightening it.)
Polishing up some motor pieces (clutch cover, jug fins, stator cover), and likely powdercoating a few other things

    Anywho, onto the pics:

I feel like the bike is priced fairly seeing the extensive changes that have been made, the maintenance, and the overall condition of the bike, that coupled with the fact that I REALLY REALLY like the bike, makes it hard for me to negotiate on this.

Naw, It only cost me like $700 to ship a car from VA beach to Cincinnati. I would honestly probably just drive it down to you for the full asking price, I have family in Monticello, GA that I could stay with.

Thanks fellas! I think that was an old suzuki in the background, not sure what, that picture was in the last owners garage. I think i'm going to keep her, started wrenching, and got the bug, trying to switch up all the vehicles in my lineup for next season!
