Default Don't you **** it when you JUST MISS OUT on buying the bargain of the century!!!

So I found this 1972 BMW 2002 roundie that was bought brand new and was being sold by it's original owner. It had only travelled 156,000KM's which is nothing for a car of that age and had the full service history to back it up.
$4000AUD and I rang him up (he only advertised it 19 hours ago) and it was sold
BURNING!!!!!!! Has something similar ever happened to anyone on here?

I missed out on a set of 15x8 and 15x9 BBS RS001's just a couple days ago, could've had them for 650 euros, sold just minutes before I rang the guy up... Came with hex's and everything too, and a extra set of 1" lips

missed out on a 1972 bmw 2002 for 2k USD and a MK1 VW Rabbit convertible for $800. Both were in such nice shape, the MK1 actually had all its wiring redone right before he sold it! So Bummed!

i almost missed out a few weeks back. a guy was selling a "built" motor for $800, had over $3k in it, luckily i had the cash, and was able to go pick the damn thing up from long island. (i'm in md). there were about 15 other people trying to get it as well.

yay, now my turbo build is that much closer to being finished!
