Little red wagon
Hey guys. New car means new build thread!
Just picked up this 1995 honda accord wagon
Its got 156000 miles
Automatic
F22b1 motor
Its been repainted by the old owner. Its now red with metallic flakes.
Previous owner also put air struts on it.
As nice as it looks, it has problems. All the wiring/airlines will be stripped out an reaced/rerouted.
Here is my starting point
All up:
All down:

Needs tint and wheels
I would tint the rear windows tho. I'm not a fan of fishbowl wagons.

I have a 3 year old, so it will definatly be tinted!
As for wheels, ive been playing around with the idea of tuck vs. poke.
I test fit some 17x7.5 +40, with 215/40/17 tires today.
Is it just me or do they look small?
(sorry for the shitty pictures. I only fit the rear one on.
Honestly, im thinking that something like the xxr 527's, 18x9.5 would be the best option.
Any opinions? Im not spending a ton of money on wheels... So dont give me that work, bbs, ccw shit.

Fishbowl wagons are awesome But this accord looks like it was made to be tinted unless it had a more metallic paint like

So. I finally have a working stereo!! Haha. I missed having music!
Also, got to looking at my suspension and realized i had different tires front to back.
Fronts were 195/65/15
Rears were 195/60/15
Swapped them around, and the car sits more level!
Judging by this, i may be thinking doing a staggered fitment? Smaller tires in front, bigger in back.
Ill post more pictures tomorrow so you guys can see.

Old
New
Overall about the same height, but the wagon is lower.

Stagered wheels would be sick. But I'd go wider in the back and narrower in the front.

I dont think sunk 17's will look good at all..
As for the exterior, ive been looking at vip bodykits and stuff. I might got hat route. One thing i know for sure. I will have this wing.
There isnt a whole lot else to do outside. Its got a shaved antena, the whole thing has been repainted. Maybe new bumpers? Haha. Ill take interior pics tonight.

I'm digging this.
If you want to go 5-lug I've got it figured out, the hard part will be finding all the needed parts at the junkyard. Everything is available through Honda at the parts counter, but its' serious $$$.
