Default 1988 BMW e24 635csi, The Perfect car to stance

http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/3128559436.html

Grettings, on most forums I go by the alias : AceM3

Let me begin with a bit of a background on my e24.

I purchased this vehicle a few months back. I have always been a

Fan of the e24 Bodystyle and Driving abilities. It is a Classy car!!

Always has people wondering, they get curious to see what kind

of BMW this might be, In the end they Like it. It is a rare sight now a days.

Now here is where this e24 stands out from the rest. In 1988 they imported about 145

Manual Transmission e24s in to the United States... This is a FACTORY MANUAL TRANS!!

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

This is one of the 145 imported!! Now remmember that these cars have been on the roads

for about 23 Years! Just imagine how many are really left today?

Keeping in mind its age you will come to realize the Body has seen better days, but that

even for a classic BMW the Engine is purring strong!! As soon as I obtained this car,

I began on the Drivetrain. I got it with some issues and Negligences, but today it is breathing

better! Has a Cold Air Intake*, I have replaced Thermostat, Gaskets, and Vacuum Lines.

Repainted and cleaned up the engine bay...

Oh I take pride in the results! The last time I had a Engine bay like this I was sponsored by several

shops and Detail centers.

I really wish I had the time to do more to it. To take it to the Hill Country or visit the

BMW scene in Socal. It gets really Big there specially with both with Bimmerfest and MFest

situated out of LA. But sadly I cant, so it is up to the next person to carry the baton.

Wich is why id prefer for my vehicle to go to a BMW Enthusiast or someone that is willing to

continue caring for this Shark. It is a Faithful car, a great, fun daily driver. I testify due to my

personal experience.

This would also make a great BMW project or Classic Restoration. Hell it will even be a great

chasis to do a Stanceworks Set Up with...

What ever you would like to do with it! To each their own!

It is at that point in the build that it can go wich ever way the new owner desires.

Here is the BimmerForums thread that I was writting up on it.

It is kind of a diary I had began for it.

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1857843

I will be selling it with a set of 16" style 33 wheels with good tires.

Now the Answer to the Universal Question...

Why?!

My wife and I are about to be first time Parents. We only have a few months till our baby girl joins us.
I am in need of a 4 door, with only a few month to have it ready. I also just put a down payment

on a house. For those that have obtained a house will know how that shakes down your finances.

So in order to get the vehicle I need I must liquidate as much equity as possible. Plus the shark

has no place for a child seat. In order to succesfully make the next steps of my life. I must

sacrifice a few things, including my Shark.

I know I will regret this later, but at this time id rather be able to pick up my daughter from

the hospital over having a really cool vintage car. You know what I mean?

The current asking price is of 3200 Total.

With only 2500 up front I will release the vehicle, the other 700 will get you the tittle in your name.

I am also open for trades, just please keep in mind the type of vehicle im in need of.

Id prefer trading for an e34, e36, e38, e39 or even e46!

Firt one with the cash takes it. If by Fiday I dont have a serious Firm buyer,

then I can do Best Offer. I will accept Cash. Money Order, or PayPal... No Checks or Blind Sales.

Photos of what it looks to be three different cars, doesn't make this thread confusing at all.

My cousin met up with this guy to buy some fog lights for his e36 and said he seemed pretty cool. He mentioned the car to him being for sale.

Hey guys sorry for not replying sooner. My car is the Light silver one. The other photos are to
Show as example what can be done with the car. I.E. the Euro Front Bumper. I wish I would have been able to do that.

I'm not a schetchy person, I wouldnt be using my Alias name that most BMW guys
know me for. I'm really close with people like Bryan from Media junkies & I was even
Meeting up with MFest when they where planning their first Vegas ball!
Google me. You will see. I've been in this game too long to be burning anyone especially
on a BIG forum....

Anyway, the car is still for sale, and the price is 2200 cash. I've had many call or text
But apparently everyone is too busy to even come and see it. It really is a shame, it's a great car & if I could I wouldn't sell it at all!

Yup it does have it, Il let the next owner know, at this point I have stopped working on the car since it is for sale.

I already lost a customer bacuse of panels being removed while he saw it. Guess it scared him away.

But curious, how much would it even be to ship from 78238?
