Another e30 bandwagoner.
Hey guys, you may know because of my bus, or the datsun. Probably not, but whatever. I sold The 280zx to get this beast. This e30 was just like every e30 i saw on craigslist. It was one i wanted, but i knew i couldnt have, so just for the hell of it. i put the datsun on Craigslist, i sold in like 2 days. Then i called the guy with the e30 Went to look at it, it has a cold air intake, and a megan racing exhaust with a Greddy tip. To me the exhaust looks ricey, along with the "racing seats" but its whatever. I got it 800 dollars later. my list for the car is.
-Fix center support bearing. (already bought)
-Replace tranny mounts ( already bought)
-Mtech 1 goodies.
-in the distant future some Borbet type A's something cheap for now though.
-Some OEM light projectors.
-Engine chip.
- ///M interior goodies
-Taurus sideskirts.
All this stuff will be stuff that happens over time, it is going to be a daily, so its not going to be a show car. here is the only pic i have now.

Ha, little racecar.
From what I can tell this was a steal for 800$ i"ve seen is'es in much worse shape for sale for way more than that, nice find.
I wounder if taking the tip off of the muffler would make it look less ricer. Or maybe moving it... Side exhaust bro.

haha, i think it was a steal for 800. i fixed the driveshaft just now, and i am putting it in tomorrow, and im keeping the exhaust for now, i am going to ditch that carbon shift knob, and probably replace it with a ///M shift knob, and i have the tranny mounts to install either tomorrow or the next day.

Body seems to be in good shape, I like it but I would definitely lose the fart can and get all original interior, e30s look so much better that way IMO. Door panels look pretty cool tho.

Nice buy for $800! I always love your projects. I'm sure this will be sick no matter what you decide to do to it... But I'm always so shocked by how high these are stock... Stanceworks is making me lose grip with ride-hight reality

I agree, the exhaust is leaving, it was the P.O that did that anyway, i am going to save for the exhaust as a whole, as in headers, test pipe, muffler, so it may be a while, after all this is a budget build

dont worry, i am soon haha
So it was running really bad, it was just sitting, and i got a shitty picture, of it sitting, barely running, lol
What the problem was it sounded like a cam lop, but performed horribly, i was thinking it could be the ecu, it could be the plugs, it may still have some bad gas, maybe water in the gas, i wasnt sure, so i did the most simple stuff to see if it worked, i changed the oil and filter (just for maintenance not to fix the problem lol) then i bought some "performance" bosch plus 4 plugs, and replaced them,
plugs :afro
plug caps
this stuff
gumout, i actually didnt use this yet, i am going to fill up the car with premium and put this in, for now i used the stuff that chevron makes, with techron and stuff, it worked very well on the bus, and i hope to see the same results in this car,
bought this to do the dash, but im just going to buy a cover for it, ill use the bondo for when i remove the rear spoiler i guess.
this for touch up
took it for a test drive, yeah it runs better
