Default Kevin's 93' Ls400 AYEEEE

A work in progress, all maintenance and work done by myself. Originally got the car bone stock with front end damage from a wrecking yard before it went to auction. Been through some phases but now it's really starting to get where I want it to be. Since this is my first car it has been a real learning process. Some semi recent photos of my last setup

I had the RPF1s powdercoated in a color called Lazer Rootbeer and they're 19x9.5 +22 (225/35s) and 19x10+22 (235/35s), but they are sold now and I have some new units. Moving down to 18s! 18x10 up front and 18x11 out back.

its already on BCs, the only thing pending is me fitting the wheels and acquiring tires. I'd say get the ls400, its a real comfortable car and reliable, but with the rising price of gas its kinda spendy. And there's hardly any aftermarket as well, so finding parts or doing stuff custom is a hassle.

thanks for all the compliments guys, here's a few photos of the RPF1s finish for anyone wondering, it's really dynamic and looks different in all types of lighting. I'm going to miss them slightly, but the new wheels are waaaay more gangster

thanks for the kudos, small update is that I came upon some 225/40s today for cheaps, but Les Schwab refused to mount them on a 18x11. Anyways I think I decided to try and run them on the 10 instead and have some extra meat, 225/40 on 11" might have been kinda crazy

and heres another teaser

Smallish update, since I'm still waiting for some things to come in so that I can put my wheels on, figured I'd fix my wiring harnesses that have been shredded for the past year. Pics are of passenger side but the driver side had minor shredding as well.

IMG_3761 by KEV.E, on Flickr

IMG_3767

One of the wires was corroded so I had to cut back the loom of wires even more, turns out the bad wire routed all the way into the engine bay. Making a pretty easy procedure more tedious and annoying

IMG_3777

and then I decided to clean my grimey ass engine bay, which is really nasty since I don't have the bottom splash guard anymore, and had a power steering leakage problem for like 2 years haha

IMG_3774 by KEV.E, on Flickr

IMG_3781

tmr I will finish detailing and trying to organize the bay better, as well as finish soldering the harness and tucking it
