**milano_red's 1980 Lolux build**
So I have posted some in other threads, but considering I haven't introduced myself anywhere but the Souths thread, This will be in intro thread also. I'm Pretty new to the whoel "Stance" thing so this is a big learning process for me, This is also my first project so it will be kinda slow.
Here is the truck on the way home the day I bought it.

I got it for a good price, and it was already Stanced as you can see. But there was no mirrors at all so I installed my wink mirror

The interior needs alot of attention, so thats where i started first, there is some really bad rust in the floor pans

A couple of weeks later I finally got outside and did some work on the driver side floor. Its not the best work but it keeps water out and will be good enough to cover with carpet

turned out pretty good I think, just a piece of 20 guage roof flashing, pop rivets, and flex seal
During the process i pulled the valve cover off and painted it gold to match the wheels
I took out those awful celica buckets and put a tan bench the needs to be recovered
That is about it for now, although there is probably stuff I'm missing. still looking for pieces for the interior to re-finish it; Door Panels, Headliner, Dash pieces etc. I found a few but waiting on the to ship. There is a way to go. Possibly e30 drivetrain, and a m10 or m20 swap?? :

They should as far as I know. I've never paid to close of attention to it. I would think at most the window crank might be in a different position.

Well for those of you that were following my build it has stopped. I traded the truck for a Gs300 so if i decide to keep it there will be a build.

She's a bit rusty but that should clean up nice.
I fucking love Hilux's, I talked to my aussie friend who has a 1jz swapped hilux king cab and he said that the only reason he doesn't like the states it that there aren't enough hilux's here.
