  • Smart Brabus Fortwo

Bought the car in August 2011.

then came winter so a set of steels and winter tyres were called for...

even though the car comes with the "Brabus Suspension" it still handled like sh*t so coil-overs were needed.

which left the car looking like this over the winter:

Fast forward to Spring 2012 and the last weekend in February, a detail session was called for.

    Now on to the Audio:

The second day I took delivery of the car, I had my audio ordered

Went simple with one pair of components, a 5 channel amp, a 10 sub and a processor running of the factory deck in the form of a pair of Hertz High Energy Components, a JL Audio 900/5, a 10W7 in a high output enclosure and an audison bit10d

which left the interior untouched aside from a few JL Badges on the door and by the gear selector

and an aerial and wiper delete to top it off

the engine got some love an attention with dual 0 guage earthing straps (one at the block and one at the gearbox), an ITG pannel filter and a set of Forge TIK pipes

        haha, thanks!

I've always wanted to do something a little different, and given you don't see a whole lot fo smarts done up, it sort of made sense (in my head anyway!)

having just traded in my old smart for a brabus,I'm not going down the hayabusa route purely as it's too much hassle in the new cars compared to the older models where the conversion kit has been perfected.

somewhere along the line, I will upgrade the spark plugs and run a more agressive map on the car along with a race spec exhaust and I'd be happily looking around 130 break.

but that will all happen when I'm older, being 20 in the UK, insurance companies like to cash in on us! so in the mean time, I'm out for a set of schmidt th lines.

currently trying to finalise the design, I'm aiming for 8j on the rear and about 6.5 on the front, both will be 17" in size and 3 lug. I'm just not sure if I want tuck or flush on the fittment side of things so I will probably have them built to tuck and then space out if necessary!

never been done before and to be honest even though when I picked the car up I didn't like the current wheels on there, I'm growing frond of them

I just want a set of th-lines as a set of show wheels with some naughty specs and fittment.

Never really liked smarts but hopefully this will change my mind.
Also some pictures of an older model Smart Fortwo:

I am really broke with far too many ideas.

This should be a pretty cool little build thread. I vote different to TH Lines but should look nice with a bit more of a wider wheel on there.

                              thanks!

What would you sort of suggest?

I've had my eye on a set of fifteen52's for a while now but I'm not sure if I can do without the dish! (given my previous smart had the ever so popular Kahn RSL's on for a while!
